How are you? If I see like that, I will come in again and again. I'm very happy to come to this small village and see the children of God. I don't know what to say but my heart is broken when I see you live poor like this. I will try my best to help you.

You're poor because in the last life, you didn't do any good deeds. You didn't help anybody and didn't remember God. That's why you have to be reborn and to live like that in this life. I'll pray but please remember who is your God and pray to Him for helping you in this life.

Today is the first time I've come to the South of Laos, I wish you all the best and I'll pray for you everyday.
God never forgets all of you. God is always here. You can pray to him and he will see you.

You are poor now but one day you'll have a chance to be rich and get better in your life.

The more we pray to God, the more He understands us, since God listens to our prayers everyday.

Please remember and pray everyday. I know you are very poor but that's the karma and no one is poor forever. One day you will be better.

I don't know what to say but I'll pray for you everyday. This is my first time here, please be patient, I will come back for sure

Alright. I don't know what to say now. I'm a Buddhist monk. I don't know if they know it or not?

Master Ruma: They don't know, right? No?

Translator: Only 4 or 5 people here believe in Buddhism

Master Ruma: So what do they believe?

Translator: They all believe in the spirit of the nature and they believe in animism like they believe in ghost.

Master Ruma: Oh, ghost! Why do you believe in ghost? There is one thing which is far higher than ghost. Ghost is a very low level.

Translator: I asked them why as the Master's question "Why do you believe in ghost?" and he said that from generations of their ancestors such as their parents, their great grandparents, they believed in that because when they have a problem, such as when they get sick, they go and worship the spirit by killing animals. Then their children or those who have problems feel better.

Master Ruma: Oh, Better! You should not think like that. Oh my God! That's why you are poor. If you believe in ghost, they never help you get higher.

I know they could understand you. I understand that but there are some more that are very high. One of them is called Buddha

You prayed and you killed animals to offer to your ghosts. Then they made you feel better. That's the physical body only.

If you strongly believe in the higher level, Buddha, it'll not help you with the physical body but with the soul. When you die, you'll go to the heaven. It's very beautiful there.

If we come down to be reborn again into human beings, we will be very smart, intelligent and rich. And we will not be reborn in a poor life from generation to generation again and again because we receive the help from the high level which we call God or Buddha. He's the King of Heaven. When you believe in the king, you'll have everything.

The ghost worshiped by the local people has very low level. When we get the king, we have everything we want. We will not be poor anymore.

We will be smarter, wiser and more intelligent. We will be able to get help from rich people outside.

If we go to the higher spiritual level, we pray, we practice with the high level of Masters; and then when we die, we will go to another level, another planet. It is much more beautiful than this country or this earth.

OK. I think I have to stop here now. I will tell you more later. Can you read my book? Yes? OK.

You are so poor! I cannot let you stay here. My heart is broken to see you with no protection from the sun. I wish you all the best. I'll pray to Buddha and God for your blessing. I will tell everybody to come here to help you. It's not only me. We have a lot of people. They don't know this place because you don't have enough merit.

Love each other and love animals. They are all your friends. Don't eat them.

When you love them, God will love you and bless you.

Alright, thank you again and again. I have a little thing here. Perhaps, I should give it to the principal here. Please share my love with everybody.

I wish you the best. Please continue your work here. I will come back to see you and try to help the village more next time.

Alright and thank you. I will see you later. I cannot stay here longer. My heart tears into pieces when seeing you like this.

Master talks to the translator: OK. Do they pray to the ghost only?

Translator: Yes.

Master: They never know that there is Buddha?

Translator: Never know

Master: Is there no monk here?

Translator: No, there is no monk. Just only the teachers believe in Buddhism.

Master: If they believe in Buddhism, it will be different. No monk is here. How can they know? Ok. I wish them all the best. We will slowly do something for them

Do you believe in Buddha? Please! If you believe in Buddha, your life will change

It is not your fault because you don't believe in Buddha, that is from your past generations long time ago. They didn't know. And no one is teaching about the truth of the Buddha and God. That's why you don't know anything and you have to pray to the ghost. Ghost is of a very low level

Alright, pray to the Buddha, He will help.

“The Light and Sound Meditation Method is a spiritual meditation method, contemplating on our internal vibrations, i.e. listening to the vibrations of our inner sounds. Light and sound are both from God. Light represents enlightenment. Seeing the light in meditation means we are enlightened. You can experience this when you are initiated."

“You can more easily follow the dharma if you can harmonize the real life work and your inner spirit. It is difficult to achieve this if you do not follow the five precepts.”

“You are busy the whole day with your work. You have various thoughts wandering around, and you are very busy earning your living and trying to support your family - how then could have enough time for meditation? However, if you do not meditate everyday, it is very difficult to make a true progress.”

“The main purpose for compliance with the Five Precepts is to cultivate the purity of your Movement-Word-Idea continuum in the way you communicate, your ideology, and your actions in your daily life. You need to be very prudent and aware in all aspects and you should not do things like lying, stealing or harming others.”

“ We must approach all people with our noble compassion, our bright wisdom, our immense affection, and pure action and ideology. This is the way of all disciples of the true Dharma.”

“If you want to properly follow the Five Precepts you need to achieve absolute serenity. Everyday, we have the self-check the three essential aspects of “ideology, word and action” and evaluate if we have achieved genuine virtue. We need to be sincere with ourselves, our parents, siblings, spouse, children, friends, neighbors, fellow disciples, and everyone we meet.”

“When you make a mistake you should sincerely admit and confess to yourself. Confession does not mean you torture or fine yourself, but rather that you make a conscious effort to understand what you did wrong, what you need to do to correct it, and how you can try to avoid such a mistake in the future. This is the way of the enlightened mindset.”
